1.) If there was a phrase or verse that describes your life, what would it be?
Okay, so two come to mind. The first, the obvious, my life verse. “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” I am a woman who needs to be reminded daily where my strength comes from. It is God and God alone - working in and through me.
The other - is one that Steve and I jokingly say to eachother all the time. It has helped our marriage!! “You can tell me what to do, or how to do it…not both.” It makes me laugh just to write that. Steve and I giggle whenever we say it to eachother, but it is a gentle way to remind eachother not to get too bossy, and that we may do things differently, but that is okay!!
2.) How did you and your husband meet?
We met in college, while playing a game of phase ten. It’s a long complicated story, that involves his moving to the floor of the Christian Fellowship’s president - I was in her room playing phase ten - he stopped by for some reason that I don’t remember right now. All the people in the room say that our eyes met and the world just stopped around us. It was like that…kinda :). I was dating someone at the time. It took a while for us to get together…which is another VERY long story. But we officially “met” that night during phase ten.
3.) Are you afraid of getting older? Why or why not and if yes, what is the part that scares you? (more…)

I don’t always go shopping on black Friday, but once every few years I swing some great deals. I use to think that black Friday was really dumb-a huge mistake to even attempt. I’m getting up at the crack of dawn this year…yes, I know. It has been years since I’ve done this. I have some hints that help for those of you stepping out for the first time, (or veterans) though; so-all is not lost

You arrived at the right blog, though the appearance of it may be different. I’m playing with the different themes that word-press has to offer. It’s getting to be Christmas time so…maybe I’ll do a winter theme. Hey-how about an outdoor summer theme? What about a banana smoothie theme? Don’t laugh. Laugh all you want! What a variety!
