You have blessed me so much through the years. I just wanted to share with the world some of the reasons that you make it so easy to love you…

I love that you take a longer time in the bathroom to get ready than I do. I love it when you encourage me to do things that you know that I am nervous about. You are an amazing father-I couldn’t have done better. I love how your brown eyes twinkle when you laugh. I love that you work really hard so that I can stay at home with our boys. I love how excited you get each time you find out I’m expecting. I love that you are organized & efficient. I love it when you have an ‘out of the blue free-for-all’ wrestling match in the living room with our sons.

There are a lot of things in life that require waiting… waiting to hear news form a loved ones safe arrival back home…waiting for test results that could mean major renovation in the way we look at our lives…waiting for an adoption to go through…the list is endless.

We are in a time of waiting right now. I wish that I could say that my husband and I have ‘arrived’ in the patience department (when it comes to waiting), but that just isn’t true.

What do you typically tend to do when you are in a time of waiting? Are you a ‘doer’-do you run around trying to get as much done as you can so that you feel like you are at least doing something? Are you someone who withdrawls when you are waiting for answers? Do you ‘wait’ differently than you used to-what did you do in the past when waiting for an answer?
